Residence visa can be rehabilitated

Foreigners with more than six years abroad and wish to recover the resident should start a new process

Foreigners who once had residence visa for Panama, but transferred their residence abroad may apply for restoration of rights.

Resolution 22657 of August 12, 2015 allows foreigners with residence visa who left the country two years ago to recover the residence permit, but shall not have more than six years out of Panama.

For rehabilitation, one must be submitted the required documents as listed on Migration, plus a notarized affidavit, in which the reasons for the absence explaining
