Javier Carrillo Director of Immigration in an interview said that the number of migrants entering Colombian border for almost three thousand

Two thousand 795 people, coming from the continents of Africa and Asia, have illegally entered Panamanian territory by the Colombian border, a phenomenon explained the director of the National Immigration Service, Javier Carrillo, has increased year after year.

Carrillo explained that people enter through South America (Ecuador, Brazil and Peru), land to cross the continent and reach the United States and Canada fate of all.

He noted that there is a collaboration with the US government on security and registration of these people through fingerprints and other as the modus operandi of these citizens is arriving without documents.

The Director of Immigration said that 80% are men and the rest women and in some cases adolescents. So far they have not detected illegal to own African diseases.

Bangladesh, Sierra Leone, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sir Lanka, Somalia, Cameroon, Guinea, Benin, Burkina Faso, are some of the countries from which the migrants.
